A woman while walking in the park was hit in the face by a catfish that fell from the sky.

Lisa Lobree was walking to meet her fitness group at Fairmount Park on Labor Day when the more than foot-long fish with whiskers landed on her head.

"I think it might have been head, face, and neck because I smelled so bad afterwards," Lobree told CBS Philly. "I smelled disgusting."

She bounced off her friend and fell to the ground screaming. Her face swelled. She thought it was fish guts but it turned out to be a cut near her eye.

People asked if she was OK.

"It definitely hurt me and I didn't know what happened," Lobree told Philly.com. "I was a little bit shocked, actually."

Lobree believes that the 18-inch fish fell about 50 feet ater it was accidentally dropped by a bird, according to CBS Philly.

"It could have been so much worse," Lobree told Philly.com. "What if it hit a child? It was a not a fun experience, but there are so many worse things that could've happened. It's probably one of the strangest things that (has) happened to me in my life."
