Urban Outfitters is not known for playing it safe in their products.
One product drew the ire of social media after it included a play on a name for a well-known suicide location in England.
Mashable reported that the retailer's "Peachy head shampoo for suicidal hair" has been removed from shelves in the UK.
"Peachy head" is a play on Beachy Head, a location many people in England go to commit suicide on the cliffs.
Referring to those cliffs, the product description reads, "I never knew my once beautiful hair would actually commit suicide by tossing itself off dramatic white cliffs to the rocks below."
The shampoo, although sold at Urban Outfitters stores, is created by UK brand Anatomicals.
The call out on Twitter was swift.
Anatomicals co-founder Paul Marshall told The Huffington Post UK his company is "an irreverent, fun brand with a sense of humor -- something the world is often lacking in. This product is so obviously a tongue in cheek reference to hair and refers only to hair."
"As always, we closely monitor all feedback, good or bad, and respond accordingly. ‘Peachy Head’ has been on sale for a number of years now and continues to be loved by many customers.
"That’s not to say we fail to recognise that suicide, and particularly teenage suicide, is a growing problem and we would never wish to be seen as making light of it."
Urban Outfitters is taking a different approach, removing the product from its website and taking it off shelves.
"Although the product’s name is a humorous attempt to market a shampoo for hard-to-manage hair, we reevaluated and felt it was not appropriate, and it was pulled from the Urban Outfitters website," a spokesperson for the company said.
"Regrettably, some of the product was not pulled from our retail stores. We have instructed all of our UK stores to remove the product immediately."
