Do you have Blue Bell products in your freezer? Here are five things you need to know about the latest voluntary recall.
1. Which products are included? The recall covers all "ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbet and frozen snacks," the Texas-based company said in a news release Monday.

2. Why are they being recalled? Because they may be "contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems."
“We’re committed to doing the 100 percent right thing, and the best way to do that is to take all of our products off the market until we can be confident that they are all safe,” said Paul Kruse, Blue Bell CEO and president. “We are heartbroken about this situation and apologize to all of our loyal Blue Bell fans and customers."

3. Has anyone gotten sick? According to The Associated Press, last month's initial recall was issued after three deaths at a Kansas hospital were linked to "ice cream contaminated with listeria." But while listeriosis may have been a contributing factor, the bacteria didn't cause the deaths, according to Kansas Department of Health and Environment spokeswoman Sara Belfry. In addition, five people in Kansas and Texas reportedly were sickened.
4. Where are the products sold? Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wyoming and internationally, the release says.
5. How do I return them? Customers can get a full refund by bringing the items back to the place of purchase. For more information, visit bluebell.com or call 1-866-608-3940 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. CT Monday-Friday or 10 a.m.-2 p.m. CT Saturday.
