Almost as well-known as Donald Trump’s hair is the GOP elephant symbol. The elephant was first introduced as the Republican mascot in the 19th century when political cartoonist Thomas Nast used it to refer to the party in 1874. At the 2016 Republican National Convention, elephants almost outnumbered the Republicans. Here is a rundown of all the elephant items I stumbled upon.
