Two teenagers took down a suspected thief who they spotted lurking outside a window early Thursday morning.

Cameron Fontenot, 16, and Cameron Cashdollar, 15, told Channel 11 News that they followed the man after he shined a flashlight into Cashdollar’s home around 2 a.m. The teenagers said they witnessed him break into several cars before jumping into action.

Fontenot put the man in a headlock, while Cashdollar took a photo of the pair amid their struggle in case the man got away before police arrived.

The boys said the man, later identified by police as Anthony Adams, of Virginia, begged them to let him go and even offered to give them some of the money he stole.

However, Fontenot and Cashdollar were able to hold the man down until police showed up.

Adams was taken to the Washington County Jail.

Police said if it weren’t for Fontenot and Cashdollar, Adams may have never been caught.
