An O'Hara Township teenager has a cost-cutting idea for the government.
Suvir Mirchandani, 14, said taxpayers would save hundreds of millions of dollars with an easy change on printed documents. Mirchandani believes the government switching to a thinner font would use less ink and save money.

The Government Printing Office buys a lot of ink -- $680,000 worth.
"Throughout my investigation, I found this particular font (Garamond) can save a lot of money and a lot of ink," said Mirchandani
"GPO appreciates Suvir's suggestion and will carefully review its applicability to the government documents we produce in print," a Government Printing Office spokesperson said.
