Police are investigating the groping and attempted robbery of a high school teacher as she was headed to school.

According to police, the teacher was in the parking lot outside her apartment building Friday morning. She was taking a selfie when she saw an armed man approaching from behind her. The man pistol whipped the woman and jumped in the back seat of her car.

The man then kissed the victim and started groping her, police said, and then forced the woman to take him to an area bank.

That's when the victim jumped out of the car. Witnesses who saw the victim run away called 911.

No one has been apprehended.
