What an employee thought was a joke turned into a scary situation during a robbery early Tuesday morning.
Around midnight, two masked men pulled into the drive-thru line at a Taco Bell in east Tulsa.
The driver demanded money, which the employee brushed off as a joke until one of the men attempted to climb through the window.
She punched him and pushed him away. During the struggle, she removed his mask.
She then hid with a coworker and called police.
The suspects left in a maroon four-door Toyota with tinted windows and gold trim.
Police have surveillance video of the suspects. Police believe they will not have trouble identifying the driver.
No money was stolen and police say drive-thru robberies are difficult to pull off.
