What would turn a 16-year-old honor roll student into a killer, beating and stabbing his parents to death?

WTKR reportedVincent Parker admitted in court earlier this week that he killed his parents a week before Christmas because of being punished and prohibited from using his iPod.

WVEC reported that court documents stated Parker admitted to leaving school early Dec. 19 and driving home. He went upstairs, pepper-sprayed his mother as she left the bathroom, stabbed her before beating her with a crowbar and bat.

When his father returned home from work, WVEC reported he beat his father with the crowbar and stabbed him.

Parker's father was able to call 911, saying that he and his wife had been attacked by their son, according to WAVY.

Parker's mother was pronounced dead at the scene.  His father later died at a hospital.

WAVY reported that Parker arrived at a police station, first saying he was attacked by his father, then, according to court documents, he confessed to killing both parents.

WTKR reported Parker told police  "I just remember getting mad.  It's all from my dad.  All this stuff like my dad talking away my iPod and stuff."

Parker's attorney told the judge, that despite Parker's being found guily as an adult of two second degree murder counts, she is going to request that he serves part of his sentence in a juvenile facility according to WTKR.

He is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
