When new skyscrapers are built, height is obviously a big factor. But South Korea is focusing on a different aspect: visibility.

It's been dubbed the "invisible skyscraper." You're looking at an artist's rendering of what the building should look like during the day. It's called the Tower Infinity. (Via The Verge)

ABC's Diane Sawyer tells us how the building will be able to camouflage itself.

DIANE SAWYER: “It will be covered in 500 rows of LED screens. A fleet of cameras nearby will project real-time video onto them making the tower blend into the horizon.”

That means video will capture what's happening behind the building and project it onto the front of it. (Via CNN)

Popular Science points out the tower is divided into thirds, creating a more accurate image of what's behind it.

Tower Infinity's camouflaging powers will be on display in a city near Seoul. The first-of-its-kind building is being developed by an American architectural company. (Via WLS-TV)

In addition to being hidden from sight, the skyscraper will also feature the world's third-highest observation deck. The development is all part of a ploy to generate more tourism. (Via WESH)

The company building Tower Infinity says it doesn’t have a target date for completion.
