A Michigan 11 year old was home alone last week, when a stranger pulled into her driveway and began knocking on all the doors. Knowing there might be trouble, the girl grabbed a shotgun and hid in the bathroom closet.
According to "MLive," the girl continued to hide until the man eventually came into her house. But, when the would-be robber eventually forced open the bathroom door, he got quite the surprise.
The girl aimed the shotgun straight at the man, causing him to flee.
"MLive" reported the suspect, James Wasson, and his companion, Rhonda Steward, were ultimately arrested and arraigned on charges related to the incident.
"She is fully capable of staying there by herself, as we can clearly see based on this situation," Parks told "MLive." "She was able to defend herself from an intruder and be able to resolve an event even most adults would be taken aback by."
