Police: Florida shoplifting suspect seen wearing 'Won't Be Caught' shirt


Police are searching for two women in connection to a shoplifting incident where five handbags were taken from a Central Florida store.

One of the suspects can be seen in a surveillance photo wearing a shirt that reads “Won’t Be Caught.”

The Orlando Sentinel reports the handbags, valued at $719, were stolen from a Marshall's in Sanford on Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. The Smoking Gun reports the women were seen "selecting multiple handbags and then passed all points of sale, making no attempt to pay for their selected merchandise." There were surveillance photos of them entering, and fleeing, the store following the alleged theft.

“With the community's help, let's prove the women wrong and bring them to justice,” Sanford Police Chief Cecil Smith said, alluding to the fact that the woman who "Won't Be Caught" very well might be.

A woman matching a similar description was caught on camera in an identical T-shirt stealing more than $1,700 worth of cologne and perfume from Ulta Beauty Supply in Tampa in April.
