After more than a week of searching for Noah, Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver confirmed Thursday afternoon at a press conference the two-year-old has been found dead.

Madison County Sheriff's Office PIO Tom Mapes told FOX13 on Thursday afternoon Noah's body was found about a half mile from where he was last seen running into the woods more than a week ago.

Authorities said Noah was found by a law enforcement search group in a field, by some briars.

An autopsy will be performed, according to authorities.
