An Iowa man was in jail Tuesday after reportedly assaulting his wife with a McDonald’s McChicken sandwich.
According to the Des Moines Register, Marvin Hill, 21, was displeased with his wife's lunch choice after he awoke from a nap.
Hill reportedly then threw the sandwich at his pregnant wife multiple times and allegedly smashed the bun into her face.
Hill used his phone to record video of his wife cleaning herself up and police say she knocked the phone from Hill’s hand. According to the police report, Hill was trying to entice the victim into knocking the phone out of his hand.
Hill was arrested for simple domestic assault and booked into the Polk County Jail.
According the police reports, mayonnaise was found on the woman’s shirt and face her nose was swollen.
