The owner of the Kaiswerhof Restaurant and Wunderbar in Montomery, Texas, says he wants to sell his business to help pay an employee's medical bills.
Waitress Brittany Mathis, 19, says she went to a hospital with a leg rash and found out that she has a brain tumor the size of a ping pong ball.
Mathis' older sister and mom also work at the restaurant; her father died in 2000 of a brain tumor.
Mathis says she was hit was a pile of medical bills and still has not yet signed up for insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
That's where her boss, Michael De Beyer, comes in.
De Beyer has owned the restaurant for 17 years and thinks it's worth as much as $2 million. De Beyer told the Courier of Montgomery County that he recently turned down an offer for $1.3 million and would now auction it off, with anything above the minimum bid going to help Brittany Mathis with her medical bills.
