Meet Jim Dunbar. He has supposedly been late for everything his entire life all the way from showing up to school at 5 years old to funerals and first dates. (Via The Evening Telegraph)

But as far as the diagnosis, there are some differing opinions. And Dunbar says his family doesn't even believe him. (Via The Scotsman)

"The latest and greatest excuse of all time for being late. What is up with this doctor, come on now. His doctor gave him to diagnosis, of course after he was 30 minutes late for his appointment." (Via WDAF)

But there's actually a medical explanation. "It's believed the condition is caused by the same part of the brain that suffers from Attention Deficit Disorder." (Via ABC)

And that makes it difficult for Dunbar to gauge how long tasks take to finish, something he says has always been a source of hardship.

"I blamed it on myself and thought 'Why can't I be on time?' I lost a lot of jobs. I can understand people's reaction and why they don't believe me. The reason I want it out in the open is that there has got to be other folk[s] out there with it and they don't realise that it's not their fault." (Via Daily Mail)

Dunbar reportedly continues to struggle with what his doctor calls an incurable disease. He went to see a movie after his diagnosis. After giving himself an 11-hour head start, he was 20 minutes late.
