The flight was less than 30 minutes from landing when passengers say Cranberries lead singer Dolores O'Riordan became "disruptive."

When a flight attendant asked O'Riordan to sit down she refused, and stomped on the woman's foot. When the New York to Shannon, Ireland flight arrived at the gate, it was met by cops, one of which O'Riordan head-butted as she was being arrested.

TMZ reports O'Riordan was finally taken from the plane but was released a short time later while the investigation continues.

The Guardian reports the flight attendant was treated for a lower leg injury, but the officer was not hurt.
