A fairytale wedding at Manhattan's Waldorf Astoria Hotel turned into a nightmare Saturday evening after a gun accidentally discharged, hurting five people.

According to WABC-TV, a 42-year-old man who was a guest at the wedding was carrying a gun in his pocket when it accidentally fired. The bullet struck a 55-year-old woman in the head, but she "is expected to be OK," WABC reports. Four others hit by debris suffered minor injuries, according to The New York Times.

After the incident, the wedding ceremony continued, but the hotel asked guests to leave around 10 p.m., according to WABC.
