UPDATE: A father and son claim they were turned away from The Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range because they were mistaken for Muslims. The two men, who did not wish to be identified by name, said they are Hindus of Indian descent. The owner, Jan Morgan, denies the allegations on her Facebook page. Read the original story below.

The owner of the gun range who says "no Muslims allowed" says she made the change because of incidents like the shooting at Fort Hood, the Boston Marathon bombing and  a beheading at a food processing plant.

Jan Morgan owns The Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and has received tons of support since making the change in 2014. Morgan posted her reasons for the ban on her website.

Morgan says she’s read the Quran and doesn’t like how it talks about causing harm to those who won’t convert to Islam. She also says she has received threats to her own life after sharing her thoughts on the Quran.

She says she rents and sells guns too, and she doesn’t want them landing in the wrong hands.

“I not only have the right to refuse service but a RESPONSIBILITY to provide a safe environment for people to shoot and train on firearms.” Morgan wrote.

She even addresses the religious discrimination problem.

“I view Islam as a theocracy, not a religion.” Morgan added. “The U.S. Constitution does not protect a theocracy.”
