Conjoined twins Carter and Conner Mirabal of Jacksonville, Florida, are making health improvements, according to the Prayers for Carter & Conner Facebook page.
Their parents, Michelle Brantley and Bryan Mirabal, posted a series of pictures of the twins on Facebook on Saturday.
They say both boys are on feeding tubes and Carter had his first bowel movement.
It's a big digestive system milestone for the twins, who were born more than a month ago.
Family members say Carter is still partially on oxygen, but both boys are doing well at Wolfson Children's Hospital, where they will stay for the next several months in preparation for their next surgery toward separation.
The parents expect to learn more about the twins’ health after an upper gastrointestinal procedure on Monday.
