A Portland, Oregon, man’s Facebook post about his experience at a gun store has sparked an argument between the man and the store.
According to KGW, Buckley Jeppson wrote a post on Facebook, sharing his experience during a visit to US Guns, LLC on June 14.
Jeppson claims in the post that he entered the store to ask employees about why it sells AR-15 guns. In the post, Jeppson includes a string of dialog.
He also shared an alleged encounter outside the store between him and a fellow patron who gave him several reasons to own AR rifles, including protection from zombies, Muslims and immigrants.
The post has been shared over 54,000 times.
The store has entered a Facebook post disputing several of the claims made in Jeppson’s post. While it acknowledges he did visit the store, and that questions were asked, it says some of the dialog was fabricated.
Jeppson originally took down his post following a message from Facebook informing him that he had “violated community standards,” according to KGW.
He has since put the post back up on his page, KGW reports.
