The feature allows users to let friends and others know they are safe after a catastrophic event, including natural disasters, terror events and mass shootings.

The shooting happened around 1:45 p.m. near the Chicago Pizza at the Jacksonville Landing, a popular riverfront area, during a qualifying round of a sanctioned Madden Championship Series event.
