A topiary, that is a local landmark, sported the hat in front of Joe Oliveri Hair Design.

Oliveri put a video of the recent theft on YouTube, hoping to find the men responsible for the shrub Trump's hatless look.

The men drove off with the hat perched on top of their car, KTLA reported.

Oliveri said the hat is worth $2,500.

The chapeau was vandalized a few months ago.

Oliveri had it remade after the previous damage.

Oliveri said the hat was not a political statement and that he is not "committed" to supporting Trump.

"Trump, being the locomotive that he is, I thought I would take advantage of it with the hat, so I had a hat made that fits the statue," Oliveri said.
