Usually you call 911 for an important emergency, but a 2-year-old girl from Greenville, S.C., recently called about an adorable fashion emergency.
"She just really needed help getting her pants on," Deputy Drew Pinciaro, public information officer for the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, told ABC News.
The little girl, Aaliyah Garett, dialed 911 on March 2 and said "hello" multiple times before hanging up, Pinciaro told ABC News.
"Deputy Martha Lohnes was in the vicinity of the home, so she went over to make sure everything was OK," Pinciaro said. "And well, the little girl came to the door with her pants half on, saying needed help getting them on."
Lohnes helped Aaliyah put her pants on and even helped with her shoes.
"She jumped in my arms and wouldn't let me go," Lohnes told Inside Edition.
Aaliyah's mother, Pebbles Ryan, was at work when the incident happened and told ABC News that her father, Aaliyah's grandfather, was surprised to see Lohnes at the door.
The 25-year-old mother said she taught Aaliyah to call 911 in the case of an emergency but never thought her daughter would "call for help over getting her pants on."
"I came home to find out that the police had put her pants on for her, and now she has a new friend for life," Ryan told Inside Edition.
