Dashcam video captured a police officer in Austin, Texas, pulling over a woman, only to discover that she was choking and trying to call 911.
Austin Police Officer Dustin Clinkscales pulled over a woman over who appeared to be talking on a cellphone. He quickly realized that the driver was choking on food and saved her life.
The woman apparently had been trying to call 911 while driving, but she couldn't speak. Clinkscales realized that she was choking and performed the Heimlich maneuver to clear her airway. She passed out moments later and the officer caught her before she hit the ground.
In a unique twist, the unnamed woman Clinkscales saved was the daughter of one of his fellow officers.
