A jail inmate smuggles a gun inside his body and is able to get past the metal detectors.
Jail workers say Mark Valadez was booked into the Oklahoma County jail last weekend.
Valadez was caught with the loaded small Derringer after he bragged about it to other inmates.
Jailers say they were extremely busy over the weekend.
They had so many inmates that, somehow, Valadez slipped through without going through the metal detectors before he was put in the cell.
Valadez now faces a felony count of possession of contraband in a penal institution.
