A Florida high school cheerleader's mother is accused of punching her daughter's coach, deputies said.
The incident happened at Timber Creek High School on Jan. 15.
Stephanie Waddle said her daughter left a cheerleading competition because she suffers from anxiety.
When her daughter was suspended from the squad, Waddle went to the school to confront the coach, authorities said.
Other cheerleaders told deputies that they saw Waddle punch the coach in the face.
Waddle was arrested Tuesday on charges of battery on a school employee and disturbing a school assembly.
