National Puppy Day is Wednesday.
National Puppy Day, which has been held yearly on March 23 since it began in 2006, promotes adoption rather than getting dogs from breeders.
"There are many purebred puppies and young adult dogs that are orphaned for one reason or another, and there are plenty of purebred rescues that you can visit to give one or more of them a forever home," the official website said. "National Puppy Day encourages you to always consider adoption first."
Celebrate National Puppy Day by looking at these adorable puppy pictures and try not to squeal at the cuteness.
