A lucky lab is getting a lot of attention after surviving quite an ordeal during a visit to a Florida beach.
Zena and her owner were out for an ordinary day at the Davis Island dog park in Tampa when the dog swam out into the ocean and for unknown reasons, stopped breathing and went under.
A good Samaritan saw what happened, pulled Zena out of the water and began giving her CPR right on the beach.

Luckily, a fire and rescue crew just happened to drive by and notice the crowd of onlookers.
While fire department policy doesn't normally permit response to animal calls, they just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
They were able to jump into action and use human equipment to save the dog.
After the rescue, Zena was taken to the vet and is said to be doing fine.
