One Illinois father made the best of a situation by taking the creative path to make his little girl's medical issue more fun.
Little Layla was born with a cataract in her right eye and is required to wear an eye patch for a several hours a day to help strengthen her eye. Her father, Geof Grubb thought it would be more fun if he drew on each patch creating a custom design for every day.
According to Mashable, Grubb has been doing the creative eye patches since December and his hit the front page of Reddit twice, most recently Tuesday when he posted an update.
Though Layla gets a lot of attention when wearing the patches, her favorite is when "she gets to take it off."
