A McDonald's representative said that the restaurant chain plans to test an all-day breakfast menu.
Before you go rushing for the arches, it's happening in San Diego only, according to a report in the Huffington Post.
"Our industry sources inform us that McDonald's US plans to test all-day breakfast -- breakfast items for sale throughout the 24-hour day -- in one domestic market, with the test set to begin within the next month or two," Janney Capital Markets revealed.
Serving breakfast all day has been problematic for McDonald's were told, because the chain relies on its toasters and grills for other menu favorites after 10:30 a.m. However, the chain has been under pressure from competitors who have found a way to serve breakfast 24-7.
