Avondale Estates’ commission will hold a work session devoted entirely to an annexation update 7 p.m. Wednesday at Avondale Estates City Hall, 21 N. Avondale Plaza.
Avondale’s updated wish-list map includes the Walmart shopping center southwest of the city and the Rockbridge neighborhood with its 125 houses just north. The city’s proposed annexation adds about 1,000 homes and three main commercial districts — Walmart, Rio Circle and the DeKalb Farmers Market.
The session will include time for public comment and feedback.
