Metro Atlanta can put away the umbrellas and galoshes, at least for the next few days.
After a soggy, stormy Monday, Tuesday will be sunny, mild and dry, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Glenn Burns.
“We’ll start off with mostly clear skies and 46, warming to 60 degrees by afternoon, with a mostly sunny sky,” Burns said.
On Wednesday, expect a mostly sunny day with lows in the 40s and highs in the mid-60s, Burns said.
There’s a good chance for more rain by Thursday, possibly lingering through Friday, he said.
“Another cold front arrives Thursday with a 60 percent chance of a shower or thunderstorms,” Burns said. High temps are expected to dip into the low 50s and lows will be in the 40s.
Sunny skies will return on Friday and Saturday, Burns said. But both days the high will be a nippy 51 and the low will reach a chilly 31.
