Peachtree Corners currently maintains approximately 122 centerline miles of roadway after taking over for Gwinnett County in November. In order to develop an asset management database of those streets, Peachtree Corners has entered into a contract with Infrastructure Management Services to analyze road conditions within city limits.

The data from this analysis will be used to develop a score and ranking for each mile of road. Based on that score, the city can prioritize road-paving projects for each year with funding available through the SPLOST resurfacing program.

IMS will begin using the Laser Road Surface Tester surveys along the routes in two passes in late April.
