Peachtree City’s Planning Commission is accepting applications for three volunteer positions.

The commission reviews conceptual site plans, landscape plans and some non-residential building elevations for development in Peachtree City, and also provides recommendations to the mayor and city council regarding zoning and annexation requests. Board members also help update the city’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Plan. Two of the open appointments are for three-year terms; one alternate member will serve for one year.

The five-member board meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at City Hall. Applicants must be legal Georgia residents and have lived in Peachtree City for at least six months.

Details are at www.peachtree-city.org/jobs; applications are due by 5 p.m. on Sept. 7.
