Jonathan Washburn hopes something can be done to make it easier to help travelers get to the world’s busiest airport. “While travelling southbound on I-85 approaching exit 72 to Camp Creek Parkway , the lane lines on the highway are almost non-existent and when it is raining, forget about it,” wrote Washburn.

A reader hopes something can be done about the sad condition of 10th Street.
“10th Street between State Street and Hemphill Avenue is in deplorable condition. In every lane, there are massive pot holes and the recent patch jobs by the city have only made it worse. You almost have to drive in the middle of the street to avoid damage to your vehicle. I thought this was why we passed the infrastructure bond,” wrote Seth Walker.

A relative newcomer to the region hopes something can be done about a very long traffic light.
“I have wintered for two years and now have lived here for two years. Our son lives on Valley Brook Road. When heading north on Valley Brook Road and have to stop at the light to the entrance to the Stone Mountain Freeway the light is extremely long. Sometimes there are no cars entering Stone Mountain Freeway and our light remains red,” wrote Sandy Tobias. Tobias said the bigger problem is the sunken pavement in the left lane heading north. “Those of us heading north either have to go slow because of the dip or swing right and possibly hit cars in the right lane as they merge with us into one lane. Because we have to go slow in the left lane, fewer cars can go through the much shorter green light,” she added.
We sent her issue to DeKalb County and will let you know when it’s fixed. Days on list-6
