At Duluth’s most recent city council meeting, the city was able to accept a number of donations from local businesses and organizations. Local businesses have collectively donated $4,250 to support the Mayor’s Annual State of the City Address to be delivered in January at the Red Clay Music Foundry.

A $3,000 donation from Truck and Tap will be credited to the Public Art Acquisition Fund.

Duluth has also received a $7,542 donation from the Duluth Fall Festival Committee to offset some of the expenses incurred prior to and after the annual Fall Festival.

Finally, but of equal importance, a donation for $100 from Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt will support the Parks Youth Scholarship program. The donated funds will be used to assist in supporting opportunities for deserving youth to participate in the Parks and Recreation Summer Camp.
