Gwinnett County and the Georgia Department of Transportation will hold public meetings to share information on two “diverging diamond” interchange projects.
Diverging diamond configurations allow drivers to cross to the opposite side of the road, easing traffic movement. Two such projects – at Pleasant Hill Road and at Jimmy Carter Boulevard – are planned for Interstate 85 interchanges.
The Pleasant Hill Road interchange meeting will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place, 1775 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth.
The Jimmy Carter interchange meeting will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 1 at the Gwinnett Village CID office, 5855 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Suite 122, Norcross.
