The Powder Springs City Council is expected to hold its first of two readings Monday, Nov. 16, on a weapons ban in the City Council Chambers.
A second reading and vote are scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 7 in the Council Chambers, Community Development building, 4488 Pineview Drive.
The first ordinance, under consideration first in September but tabled in October, would have authorized City Manager Pam Conner to ban guns and knives in city buildings.
