The Peachtree Corners City Council voted April 21 to move forward with a sidewalk survey and design on Technology Parkway from State Route 141/Peachtree Parkway to Westech Drive. Peachtree Corners received an award authorization in January from the Georgia Department of Transportation for a grant of $242,024 from their Local Maintenance Improvement Grant program for the project.
Peachtree Corners received six proposals to perform the survey and design of the sidewalks. The highest ranking firm, Keck & Wood, has been awarded the contract. The firm plans to use existing surveys and other available data to prepare schematic drawings for the plan.
