New season of Breakdown: ‘Darling, why don’t you just hand me my gun?’

“He says, “I think this is a bad idea, girls. This is a bad area.’ He said, ‘Darling, why don’t you just hand me my gun?’ He said it was in the console and it was in a bag. . . . She she took it out and handed it to him.”

That’s the voice of Dani Jo Carter, who was driving the big white SUV in which Claud “Tex” McIver and his wife, Diane, were riding on a sultry September night in 2016.
