David Chastain is the new chair and Scott Sweeney is the new vice chair of the Cobb County Board of Education.
They were elected to serve until Jan. 2, 2018.
A swearing-in ceremony was held for David Banks, Randy Scamihorn and Brad Wheeler by Judge Marsha Lake of Cobb County State Court.
David Morgan was absent for his swearing in.
Banks, Morgan, Scamihorn and Wheeler were re-elected last year.
