The Coca-Cola Foundation awarded $1 million in grants so six colleges can send about 160 students to study abroad in China. Local recipients include Georgia Tech, which will receive $200,000 to support 30 students, and Morehouse College, which will receive $150,000 to help 26 students. The grants support an initiative by the U.S. State Department to have 100,000 students study abroad in China to enhance and strengthen ties between two countries in education, science, technology and other areas.
