Two suspects have been charged after the third was fatally shot by a resident during a home invasion early Tuesday in Doraville, police said.

Khaleaf Silvera and Alfred Wilson are facing charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, false imprisonment and kidnapping, authorities said Wednesday.

Three intruders crawled through a window of a home in the 3900 block of Doral Drive around 5:30 a.m., Doraville police spokesman Gene Callaway said.

They quickly tied the hands of three of the four people in the home, but one of the bound residents grabbed a gun and shot one of the intruders, he said.

The perpetrators fled the scene with the wounded man and went to Norcross, where they changed clothes and cars before taking the wounded suspect to Peachford Hospital, he said. A nurse there called 911 and alerted Dunwoody police.

The wounded suspect later died.

The other suspects were taken into custody at the hospital.

Doraville police Chief John King said late Tuesday morning that the residents of the house -- three men and a woman -- were "very shaken" by the incident and were being interviewed at police headquarters.
