Visiting Aurora Theatre actors may soon have a city-sponsored place to rest their heads at night. The Lawrenceville City Council will consider a proposal Oct. 3 to allow a short-term living facility to support the Aurora Theatre in an existing structure at 233 East Crogan St.

The property will be used to house professionals working on a short-term contract basis for Aurora Theatre productions.

Approval of the request would only allow professionals working on a short-term contract basis and not be used for housing Aurora Theatre employees for an extended period. The current structure was built as a single-family residential facility and has previously been converted to office space.
