The Lawrenceville City Council voted recently to approve a $1,505,650 contract with Bayne Development Group, LLC for construction of a new amphitheater and expanded parking at the Lawrenceville Lawn.
The project will include a permanent amphitheater stage, storage area, 12 additional restrooms, connection between the venue and the residential development of Southlawn and public parking to serve the new retail going in on Clayton Street.
The project is expected to take about 5 and a half months to complete with an anticipated completion date of early June just in time for a grand opening of the stage at the July 3rd Prelude to the Fourth event.
