Rezoning for a single-family development was approved recently by the Kennesaw City Council.
CS Realty Group, represented by Keith Cannon, was granted rezoning to Planned Unit Development-Residential for 4.5 acres at 3374 Jiles Road and 2.5 of 3.66 acres at 3384 Jiles Road. Of the 23 lots on seven acres, no more than 10 percent may be rented. Minimum lot size is 7,290 square feet. The minimum house size starts at 1,899 square feet with maximum building height at 35 feet. At least two-car garages are required for all units. Overflow parking of eight spaces will be allowed for the entire development.
If land disturbance permits are not acquired by March 20, 2018, the zoning will return to City Residential-20.
