Kennesaw city officials will conduct their first citizen survey this month to monitor satisfaction with city services and gather input from residents about community issues.
The survey will be issued to around 2,000 randomly selected Kennesaw households, asking residents for their input on a wide range of city services, including public safety, sanitation service, maintenance and public works, parks and recreation and communication.
“The results can be used in daily management decisions, in prioritizing budget allocations and in developing future long-range strategic plans,” City Manager Jeff Drobney said in the statement.
The surveys will be mailed this week.
Residents may return them by mail or respond online.
The survey will take most people about 15 minutes to complete, and the results will remain confidential.
Participants may receive a telephone call, reminding them to complete the survey.
If residents see “ETC Institute” on their caller ID, they are encouraged to participate in the survey.
A final report of the survey findings will be available on kennesaw-ga.gov in late June.
