Two new assistant superintendent positions have been recommended by the Henry County Board of Education and approved for a 30-day review and comment period.

A separate technology department is coming out from under the administrative services department, and the leadership and learning department will be split into two divisions (leadership services, curriculum and instruction) as it was several years ago before being merged in 2010.

The new configuration will result in six assistant superintendent positions for the district.
