A rezoning request for a 131.4-acre site on Clark Road, on the northern edge of Henry County, was approved recently by the Board of Commissioners. The developer making the request proposes 200 homes on the property with planned green space. More than two dozen conditions were attached to the rezoning by the commissioners and the Zoning Advisory Board regarding the size and construction of the homes.

The change is from R-3 to R-4 residential zoning, although county officials said the previous zoning dating back to 2005 would allow development at a lower overall quality without the conditions attached to the new zoning.
